SMART GOAL
As a goal, I think that working on my perspective could really help me do much better in class, and grow as a student. To me, having a better perspective means performing at 100%, and having the capability to do so. Difficulty in life occurs when someone is lacking positivity in this subject. Personally this semester, I haven’t changed much in terms of this, and if I have, it’s been in the opposite direction. However, I’d like to switch that around and move forward with this skill. I think that if I were to change that so I saw the work I was doing as slightly more meaningful or valuable, I could be much more enthused by the work I do, as well as achieve better grades. This would greatly help me grow as a learner, as I would dig deeper than the bare minimum, and learn even more, as much as I could for that matter! Although it would be a difficult thing to accomplish or measure, it is definitely possible. The best way to accomplish it, in my opinion, would be to simply put myself in a better mindset, and stick to my schoolwork and learning, rather than complaining about it or telling myself it’s useless. The best way to measure this would be to simply assess myself, and check my grades. If thinking about things in a more positive, constructive manner have a correlation with better grades, then I have succeeded! Realistically, I think that if I tried hard, I could accomplish this by late January.
